Visiting our care and support schemes
Important information for Care and Support customers and their families.
We would first like to offer reassurance to our customers and their families that we are acting quickly and following all advice from Government and the Care Quality Commission in relation to coronavirus. That means we’re putting all appropriate measures in place to protect the safety and welfare of our customers.
As all measures have been lifted in England:
- there is now no limit on the number of visitors allowed at care homes
- essential care givers can keep visiting during a Covid outbreak
- residents no longer need to test or self-isolate following normal visits out
- isolation periods for those in care following an emergency hospital visit have been reduced from 14 days to a maximum of 10 days
Care home staff in England must already be vaccinated (unless exempt).
