Steve Douglas stepping down

Steve Douglas, CBE is to step down as Chair of One Housing next month and take up a new role as Chief Executive of St Mungos, one of the UK’s best known homelessness charities.
Steve has been instrumental in driving some key changes at One Housing during his time as Chair, including creating a diverse Board that reflects our residents and staff, sharpening our focus on working together with residents and achieving the top governance rating (G1) from the Regulator of Social Housing. We will miss his leadership, energy and commitment.
We’re really pleased to announce that from the beginning of August, our new Chair will be Caroline Corby. Caroline has been an important member of our Board for the last two years and is our Senior Independent Director and Chair of our Treasury and Finance Committee. She is also a non-executive director of a number of other organisations and is Chair of the Parole Board for England and Wales. Caroline has lived all her life in Camden and is committed to One Housing and the work that we do. She’s looking forward to leading the Board and helping to shape our future.
