One Housing announced as GLA Strategic Partner

One Housing has signed a Strategic Partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA) which secures a total grant allocation over the years 2016 to 2022 of just under £60m. This takes our target to provide genuinely affordable homes in London by 2022 up to 1,692.

One Housing has signed a Strategic Partnership with the Greater London Authority (GLA) which secures a total grant allocation over the years 2016 to 2022 of just under £60m. This takes our target to provide genuinely affordable homes in London by 2022 up to 1,692. The GLA strategic partnerships offer favourable grant rates to associations for agreeing to build at least 60% of their new homes as affordable housing.

James Murray, Deputy Mayor for Housing & Residential Development, said: “I’m very pleased to announce our six new Strategic Partners, as this approach has proved successful in pushing what we can achieve together since we first introduced strategic partnerships two years ago. I look forward to working closely with all 15 housing associations who are now signed up to deliver tens of thousands of social rented and other genuinely affordable homes for Londoners.

Richard Hill, chief executive of One Housing Group, said: “We are delighted that One Housing has been announced as one of the six new strategic partners. We look forward to working with the Greater London Authority to deliver more genuinely affordable homes for Londoners.”
