Chairman of One Housing's Group Board, Anthony Mayer CBE, will step down at the end of July. On his departure Anthony will have completed his six years' tenure, which is the maximum allowed under our normal governance arrangements.
Anthony Mayer said: “I have hugely enjoyed my time with One Housing and I am proud of the organisation and all that it achieves. I have had the privilege of working with some exceptional people here and to have played a part in building an organisation that truly punches well above its weight. I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in our shared success over the last six years.
“I also know that great things lie ahead for the organisation. While I am, of course, sad to be leaving, I know that One Housing is in safe hands with a strong, and newly enriched Board as well as a reinvigorated Executive Team led by Richard, our new Chief Executive. The One Future programme also promises to transform how we work and to deliver great benefits for our customers and for our workforce”.
We wish Anthony well, and thank him for all of his work during his time as Chairman.
The recruitment process for a new chairperson will has begun and we hope to announce the new appointee in the spring. Anthony will continue to work with our other Board members to ensure a smooth transition
