We look after the communal and outdoor areas of your estate. We employ contractors or caretakers to maintain the communal gardens and clean the common parts of our blocks. We are also responsible for any estate drains, lighting, and any communal heating.
One Direct (or Housing Solutions in Berkshire) will undertake any communal repairs.
These services are paid for by you as part of your service charge. Please do let you housing officer know if you have any concerns regarding the standard of services where you live or report this on the estate inspection form.

Your housing officer carries out monthly estate inspections of all estates where there are more than 10 homes. They are on the look out for any health and safety issues that need to be addressed, communal repairs and the standard of cleaning and grounds maintenance.

We are looking for residents who are willing to give up a few hours a month of their time to accompany their housing officer on estate inspections. You can commit to every month, every other month or quarterly depending upon how much time you have to spare to help us. You will also be able to feedback to us where improvements can be made to where you live.
