    Housing Care and Support
    Housing Care and Support is the care and support arm of One Housing, a major provider of high quality housing, care and support services in London and the South East. We have been helping to house and care for people for over 40 years.

    One Housing’s Housing Care and Support (HCS) team manages a large housing, care and support portfolio with forecast turnover of around £46m in 2017-18,

    We support a broad range of customer groups with expertise in both scheme design and development as well as the delivery of high quality on-site services. We deploy nearly 1,200 care, support and facilities management staff and work with around 5,000 customers at any one time. We own or manage more than 2,000 units of supported housing and senior living. We currently operate 58 contracts across 14 London boroughs, Essex, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire and have a full suite of CQC ‘good’ ratings. All our services are underpinned by the values of choice, innovation and quality that make a real difference to people’s lives.


    Our key products include:

    • Complex needs mental health/NHS partnerships: CQC registered care and supported housing for adults with medium and complex mental health needs
    • Senior living; extra care, private retirement, and care homes
    • Young people: supported housing and assessment centres for young people at risk and for young parents
    • Homelessness: supported housing for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and which including the flagship Arlington House in Camden
    • Large scale floating support: generic floating support and specialist floating support for older people, teenage parents, customers in temporary accommodation, adults with substance misuse problems and mental health issues.


    Four key brands sit within HCS –



    The Arlington brand covers all of our homelessness services, providing customers with personalised support and real opportunities to learn new skills, find a job and get their independence back. Our flagship home is Arlington House in Camden, London, which is the largest mixed use homeless hostel in the UK. In 2018 we are opening Clarence House in Bedford. 


    One Support

    Our mental health, young people and floating support services are delivered under the One Support brand. We work with customers who have a range of needs, including young people, complex mental health, substance or alcohol use, ex-offenders and families. Since 2005, we have been the biggest developer of supported housing in London. We are one of the first providers to deliver fully integrated complex needs mental health services with the NHS under our ‘Care Support Plus’ model at Tile House and Cliff Road.



    Affordable senior living services are delivered under our Season brand. Season senior living accommodation is high quality in terms of both services and buildings. We develop and manage award winning homes that are contemporary, vibrant, age adapted and in desirable locations. Our sector-leading housing and facilities management offer in Season services is based on our substantial experience of delivering high quality services including catering, cleaning and gardening for older customers. Restaurants and bars create a lively community, while a relaxing ambiance is created in the residents lounge, complemented by a tranquil aquarium.



    Private care homes at One Housing are delivered under our Baycroft brand, offering luxury nursing and dementia care in homes and senior villages across London and the South East. The developments provide a home-from-home environment for our residents, with each room and suite offering a modern wet room style en-suite bathroom. We promote independence and active lifestyles, with the security of our skilled care and support service. Each home includes high quality communal spaces such as restaurants and a bar, library, hair and nail salon, treatment room and gym.

    Baycroft allows us to fulfil our vision of moving beyond building and selling residential homes on the open market into the direct provision of private care. The profits generated by Baycroft are invested back into our core housing, care and support services.

    As well as the seven Season and Baycroft schemes operational since August 2016, we have a further 668 units for senior living in the pipeline due to open by July 2019. These include seven private care homes, three affordable extra care schemes, and one private retirement development.
