    Our employment and training service helps our residents and customers to live better, become more independent and make their aspirations a reality. We aim to offer support to all residents who need to gain skills, find suitable work and make pathways towards a fulfilling career and financial independence.

    Our employment and training service provides a wide range of free services for customers including:

    • information, advice and guidance sessions
    • job brokerage services
    • personal and skills development, and accredited courses
    • enterprise start-up support

    Our professional employment  specialists provide dedicated support, and every working day they help another customer into paid work. They can send you the latest job opportunities in your area, help with customised job searches, and look for work experience opportunities with our partners. So if you're a One Housing customer and need help looking for work, we’d love to hear from you.

    We can help you with all aspects of the application process - from writing winning CVs and application forms, to interview advice and practice sessions.

    Whether you want to get back into work, look into your promotion chances, or are interested in trying something new, we can guide you down the right path. We offer free and impartial career advice no matter what you want to do.

    The training team provide a range of accredited and non-accredited short courses to help build your skills and guide you in your careerWe offer short courses and training opportunities to help you improve your skills and get qualifications to make yourself more employable.

    We also offer opportunities with our social economy partners and colleges, who provide structured training in different areas, we also have apprenticeships opportunities available for our customers.

    We run a wide variety of training tailored to our residents, covering well-being, resilience, handcraft workshops and other valuable skills training to acquire for your career.
