Loss of heating at Kelson House, Isle of Dogs
We're aware of the heating failure at Kelson House. Unfortunately we're unable to access the plant room to fix the boiler due to a health and safety risk in the room. Works to make the plant room safe will be completed on Tuesday 23 October, we will then access the room on Wednesday 24 October to remedy the boiler.
We are providing temporary heaters to all households but we need to limit this to two per households. Please contact us on 0300 123 9966 to request these and we will deliver these to you as soon as possible.

Our Refer a Friend reward scheme is in place to encourage our employees to recommend friends to come and work for One Housing. If a recommendation leads to a successful appointment, the employee receives £300 as a thank you.

We provide vouchers for free eye tests and if it turns out you need glasses, we’ll contribute £50 to the cost. We also offer an employee assistance programme to support staff at difficult times.
Learning and Development
We encourage staff to participate in learning to help them broaden their experience, learn new skills and reach their full potential. An annual appraisal process provides the opportunity to identify learning and development requirements and make plans to develop these over the following year. Funding can also be available for professional or further education qualifications, as well as up to five days study leave.
