Bobby became a customer board member in 2017, he lives in Salvesen House Hackney and always wanted to get involved with voluntary work. When the opportunity arose to be part of the board, he put himself forward as he wanted to use his vast life experience to support others.
Bobby attends seminars and events to talk about his recovery from mental issues, also participating on interview panels and co-facilitating groups. Bobby’s main motivation is to give something back to society he feels this can be achieved by being a board member. He wants to draw from his own personal experiences, to help fellow customers achieve their goals. Bobby plans to keep growing and developing during his time at Salvesen House, he will continue to use his skills in the best way he can, for the benefit of others.
