Wendy Wallace

Wendy started her career as a clinical psychologist, before progressing into senior leadership roles within health authorities. She has worked within the health sector for her entire career and retired from her role as Chief Executive of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (FT) in March 2016.

Wendy operated at a senior leadership level for over 16 years, with extensive experience at Board level. She has strong knowledge of good clinical governance and quality assurance. As Chief Executive at Camden and Islington FT, she enhanced quality and performance outcomes, particularly around the number of patients being treated, and improved clinical leadership.

From 2009-2016, Wendy was Trustee of Interactive, a charity facilitating the inclusion of disabled people in London-based sporting activities. In 2011, Wendy joined the National Development Team for Inclusion, a £2m not-for-profit organisation employing 30, where she was Trustee for three years, rejoining in 2016.

Whilst at Camden and Islington FT, Wendy worked extensively with OHG to create a strategic partnership between the two organisations, resulting in the creation of Tile House, which opened in 2012.
